The path

Four steps. Then members can back you.

You send a record. The Desk checks it. If it stands, members can put their own capital behind you. Many applications end in a no, and the Desk says so.

  1. The application

Six questions: what you do, what you can show, and what the capital is for. £500 to send it. That pays for the review and is kept. The Desk writes back within two working days.

  2. The proof

Traders show the account and work a proving period inside limits the Desk sets. Founders show figures that can be checked. Identity is confirmed once.

  3. Held

If the record stands, the house holds you. Only then is a £5,000 deposit asked. It is returned if you leave in good standing. If you break the terms, it goes to the backers. The Desk writes you up for members as you are, limits included.

  4. Backed

Members decide whether to put capital behind you. It stays in their wallets. You use it inside the limits you agreed, and you never hold it.
